As always, a huge thanks to Swordmaster over at Path of an Outcast for running the event. If you want to see my journey so far, you can check it out here, here and here.
Tune in next time for the final installment of Monster March. Will I succeed in my Knightly quest or will my dream fall in tatters. Only time, and this blog, will tell.
The blade looks excellent. I think the problem with assessing your own work is you'll always see the bits you don't like and other people simply won't notice. Not only that but no one will look as closely at it either.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot. We are always more critical of our own work. I'm hoping to enter this in a local painting competition in April so it will be scrutinized pretty harshly.
DeleteReally digging the blade. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rory!
DeleteThat's looking aces! I think the blade work looks good. It's a fun change from the typical blue.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much. I've used pink throughout my Mechanicus army as an accent colour and I think it works really well with the scheme.
DeleteLoving the sword & the knight castigator is coming along nicely.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot. It was a labour of love.
DeleteGreat work, loving the look of the blade.
ReplyDeleteCheers Michael. It was fun to try a new technique.
Deletethe sword is really great. The rest of the knight too, but i'm in love with that sword
